Pav Bhaji Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 potatoes (boiled & mashed)
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, capsicum, cauliflower – boiled & mashed)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
- 2 medium tomatoes (pureed)
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tsp Pav Bhaji Masala
- ½ tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
- Salt to taste
- ½ cup water
- Fresh coriander & lemon wedges for garnish
- Pav (soft bread rolls) with butter for serving
Instructions:
1️⃣ Heat oil and butter in a pan, sauté onions until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
2️⃣ Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
3️⃣ Mix in Pav Bhaji Masala, salt, and mashed vegetables, then stir well.
4️⃣ Add water and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, mashing occasionally.
5️⃣ Sprinkle kasuri methi, mix well, and cook for another 2 minutes.
6️⃣ Serve hot with buttered pav, chopped onions, and lemon wedges.
